Some say dark circles are sexy. All the rage in the nineties, when bare-faced models such as Kate Moss, Emma Balfour and George Clements would strut their stuff in front of the camera looking like they had more urgent matters to attend to than sleep (ie party), fast-forward two decades and there’s a lot to be said about flaunting a clean, wide-awake look which involves some well-earned zzzzzs, vitamins and the undeniable cheat which is makeup.

Enter Boi-ing by San Francisco-based Benefit. Blessed (I’m a glass half-full kind of person) with natural nineties-worthy darkies, I’ve tried almost all concealers available out there, ending with somewhat disappointing reviews on most of them, and a definitive thumbs-up for a couple, one being Boi-ing.
This industrial-strenght concealer (shown here in 01) imparts a very natural colour which is totally buildable and utterly blendable, giving a very smooth, imperfection-free camouflage that is hard to beat.
I’ve been using this product for more than a decade now, and although I love it to bits, I used to not be able to apply it on models on a photoshoot scenario, simply because they had darker skin, but not anymore as the product is now available in 5 shades, from light to dark, making it a great concealing option for all ethnicities.

Outstanding for fading away pimples and all matters of skin discolouration, keep one of these in your bag at all times.
